Joan P. Brannick, Ph.D., SPHR


Overview:

Dr. Brannick is an industrial psychologist who consults, writes, and speaks on employee assessment, selection, and retention. She works with organizations to help them improve their bottom line through effective and efficient recruitment, hiring, and employee development strategies and actions. She authored and co-authored several books Finding and Keeping Great Employees, a Fortune Magazine "Best Business Book." Her insights on assessment, hiring and retention best practices have appeared in many online and print publications including CNN Financial News, CIO Magazine, Fortune Magazine, HR Magazine, and Journal of Business and Strategy. She is actively involved in several professional organizations including the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the National Speakers Association, and the Society for Human Resource Management. Dr. Brannick received her Bachelor degrees in Management and Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She earned her doctorate degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
