Case Study-Leadership Full Team
Situation:
Customer Operations team in a large telecommunications/wireless organization was not at peak performance. Although these leaders and their type A personalities could drive results, their employees were not happy and were treated poorly, the team did not have the ability to collaborate and was experiencing conflict, and the likelihood of sustaining results was not likely to continue.
Process:
- Use of 360 and Conflict Dynamics Profile identified individual strengths and skill gaps as well as team strengths and skill gaps
- Reflections and Practices to address the following: nonverbal communication/body, ability to skillfully relate to their emotions and ability to resolve conflict with each other, as well as inspire employees.
- Creative techniques customized to what influenced each individual to change but stretched them to grow, including TED talks, books on various topics, mindfulness techniques, conflict resolution, employee engagement, perfectionism, and time management.
- Coaching the Coach-Executive leader who hired Redirections was coached on how to individually coach employees involved in this process to sustain the changes created by the process.

Case Study-Individuals
Situation:
Dominick was struggling professionally and had hit a crisis point in his career. His lack of focus, confidence and passion was starting to impact his business and family life. As he described it, he was “off his game” in that his entrepreneurial spirit and drive to succeed had hit a wall. He was finding himself anxious, panicky and obsessing more. Financially, he was spending more than he was taking in even though he was working like crazy.
Process:
We assessed many aspects of his life, including both practical/logistical pieces as well as behavioral, emotional patterns and attitudes blocking the practical application of his skills and flow in his life. We examined his client list, his current approach to business and finances and his body habits, how he took care of himself, his ability to skillfully deal with emotions, and also what he was passionate about and had the skills to do. Various creative practices and reflections allowed him to create new behaviors and skills aligning with his passion and values. He learned how to be more emotionally intelligent, to go beyond limiting beliefs, and how to be present and confident in his life. We also did some work around financial skill and health.
Results:
- Better ability to deal with stress
- Tools to better take care of himself
- Courage to align with his values, to pursue what excites him, and to make a difference in the world
- Courage to express his existing and new skills
- Greater emotional intelligence
- Ability to handle big life changes with ease and dignity
- Increased financial health and ability to make difficult decisions
